Lottery and Table Details
Artist Alley spaces will be drawn at random from all applicants on a per-day basis. Artists/vendors may request multiple days, which will not affect their chances of being chosen for any particular day, and may be selected for more than one day. Each Artist Alley space is a single half table for 1 day. There will be 14 seats assigned per day. See pricing and table size here.
Artist Alley Check-in and Setup
Artist Alley artists/vendors must check in at the Dealer Services table in the West Room no later than 30 minutes after the opening of the Dealer Rooms to the public. Artist Alley will observe the same hours as the Dealer Rooms, and Artist Alley artists/vendors may begin setting up as soon as the Dealer Rooms open for Dealer Setup.
What You Need to Bring to Check-in
A government-issued ID such as a driver’s license or a passport with the legal name under which you registered.
A copy of your California Seller’s Permit that must be kept at your table during all business hours.
Any other documentation as requested via email in advance.
Table Assignments, No-shows, and Walk-up Spaces
Specific table placement is first-come, first-served each morning when the artist/vendor checks in at the ConStore. You must check-in before claiming a spot!
Artist Alley artists/vendors must take down their tables by the close of the Dealer Rooms.
Artist Alley vendors who fail to claim their assigned seat within the first 30 minutes of the opening of the Dealer Rooms to attendees will forfeit their slot unless prior arrangements have been made with the Dealer Lead.
In the event an artist/vendor does not check-in on time, walk-up table placement will be on a daily lottery basis to any interested artist/vendor.
Any artist/vendor who wants a walk-up space must have their check-in information as specified above, which includes a valid California Seller’s Permit.
Day-of Artist Alley spaces are $25.
Access to electricity is not guaranteed to be available in the Artist Alley. We apologize for this inconvenience!
Portable battery packs will be available to borrow for cell phone top-ups.
California Seller’s Permits
Every artist/vendor will need to have a valid California Seller’s Permit. Unfortunately, we cannot do this for you, but they are easily acquired online. Please see Section 2 of the Vendor Rules for more information on obtaining a California Seller’s Permit. We will be verifying your seller’s permits in advance and at Check-In.
Note: You do not need to have your permit number to enter the Artist Alley advance lottery, but you MUST have it available no later than check-in. If we cannot verify your number at that time, we cannot permit you to sell. Section 2 of the Vendor Rules has more details regarding applying for a California Seller’s Permit.
Content Restrictions
Artists/vendors must comply with Further Confusion’s Vendor Rules.
